27.5" Bushi F/F Tri-Steel Maru Katana with Bo-Hi in Musashi

A historically unique style of classic samurai sword, the Maru (little crow) has a distinct double-edge profile with intricately carved Bo-Hi. Forged from folded 1095/1080/1060 carbon steels this Maru has all the characteristics of the original. The blade is clay-tempered, giving it a distinctive Hamon, a hardened edge with a softer spine to resist shock and increase durability. With our original hybrid polish, the Hamon is left in its natural state, giving the blade subdued characteristics with all key attributes of the Hamon and Hada visible. With a classic Musashi theme in iron,this sword makes a fantastic display piece that is also ready for the battlefield.
