Oakeshott XVa Medieval Sword - The Duellist - SECOND

NOTE: The handle and leather wrap is cracked. Great DIY project but not for use as is.

An elegant version of the classic medieval longsword optimized for thrusting attacks. Fitted with a ribbed leather grip and leather scabbard and a refined twist pommel.

All of our European swords are hand-forged (not stamped or CNC'ed) by the same craftsmen that make our Japanese arms. The fullers are carved and burnished by hand for crisp and accurate lines. Forging allows our smiths to control the cross-sectional geometry to provide the proper stiffness of a cut and thrust blade. European production weaponry gets the craftsmanship it deserves!
