Forged from folded 1095/1080/1060 carbon steel and given a hybrid polish, our Chinese Jian is the culmination of the search that started Dynasty Forge, the need for quality Chinese swords worthy of the martial artist.

Hand-forged by the same master smiths that produce our Japanese arms and based off of research on antique pieces in the Forbidden Palace collection, our Chinese Jian feature the proper cross-sectional geometry that gives the blade stiffness for effective thrust and parry.

Fitted in hand carved hardwood furniture, lost-wax cast fittings and peened to a full-tang for durability, our Jian can follow the warrior-scholar from the court to the battlefield.
