Aragami Katana

The "Fierce Diety" Katana is an all black and silver themed Koshirae set on a 28.5 inch Bushi class tri-steel forge-folded blade. The 11 inch Tsuka core ha been given a battle wrap in premium black silk Ito, and has a full rayskin wrap that has been lacquered black. The throat of the Saya complements the Tsuka with a full rayskin wrap, but rather than being sanded down, has been left natural to allow positive contact for gripping. A pure white Sageo has been selected to compliment the silver fittings. A silver plated dragon Menuki is permanently affixed to the wrap. The Tsuba is of the raging thunder god Raiden. The Habaki and Seppa have also been plated in matte finished silver, and the blade has been repolished using Hazuya and Jizuya stones to make a more traditional style finish than a typical hybrid polish.
