Sakura Daimyo katana

The 1095 high-carbon blade is hand-forged, clay-tempered and hand-polished on imported Japanese stones.   The polish accentuates the Hamon, bringing focus on its shape and flow.   The 11" Tsuka is wrapped in premium Japanese mid-brown silk Ito. The Koshirae set was chosen to display a wide array of Sakura (cherry blossom) flowers.  The theme is carried throughout the gold-plated Menuki, Fuchi-Kashira and Tsuba.  The Saya is finished in a deep 11 layer natural lacquer.  A black or brown Sageo is available upon request.
