Aonami II Katana

The "Blue Wave II" katana is a 28.5 hand polished 1095 blade with a precisely carved bo-hi.  This blade has a thicker blade and heavier compared to other blades with bo hi. The Koshirae, Habaki and Seppa is an aged silver plated Turbulent Wave Theme. The 11 inch tsuka is wrapped in imported Japanese navy colored silk, and the rayskin panels have been replaced with high grade Japanese samekawa. The saya has been given a two tone lacquer, the front is black, the rest in a dark blue lacquer with pearl colored speckles in the finish, bringing even more of a beautiful ocean motif to the overall theme. Comes with a choice of either a Blue, Blue and White, or Blue and Black style sageo.
