Ishime Higo Katana

The Ishime Higo katana is the first of the 1060 class to be customized. It features a through hardened and flexible 28.5 inch blade with Bo Hi, a rewrapped 11 inch tsuka core in cotton ito, dragon Menuki, a new stone finished (Ishime) Fuchi and Kashira set, and a steel Musashi style Higo tsuba. The work has been done by a new member of the customizing line. The Ishime Higo provides an economical and extremely durable alternative for those starting out in Tameshigiri.
