Daimyo Midori Sakura Tanto

The "Green Blossom" tanto is a 12 inch long naginata naoshi style blade in stone polished 1095 steel. The blade had been scratched in shipping, so it has been repolished and the hamon pattern re-etched. It has been given a green lacquered saya and green tsukamaki like the katana, but the battle wrap style tsukamaki allows it to be held comfortably in the left hand or right. The tanto has been fitted with horse menuki, and the habaki has also been copper plated.

This tanto can be purchased alone or with the matching katana.
